ANGUILLARA – CRI LOCAL COMMITTEE SABATINO ALWAYS ON THE CUTTING EDGE

ANGUILLARA – CRI: LOCAL SABATINO COMMITTEE ALWAYS ON THE CUTTING EDGE’ADVANCE

The presence of numerous graduate nurses among CRI volunteers, has made sì that took shape in the mind of Alessio Agostini this ambitious initiative that will seeà the coverage of the needs of the citizenry on Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. thus ensuring that continuity of care is maintainedà essential care throughout the weekend (currently the Medical Service funded by the Municipality of Anguillara Sabazia è operating only on Sundays) making sure that especially chronic and sometimes acute patients are never left alone.

The service includes among the’other dressings, phleboclysis, monitoring of vital parameters, etc. all in close contact with the general practitioner. With a simple call the’nurse will travelà at the applicant's home to assess the steps to be taken.
Seemingly simple, but perhaps it is worth specifying some aspects of the service. The patient is taken in considering the reason for the’access through the initial assessment and the’identification of the health problem.
Fundamental in this regard is the collaboration with the attending physician, who is contacted both to inform him or her that the patient is accessing our facility and for the’possible setting of systemic therapy.
L’nursing care in outpatient settings is configured differently than it is in realityà hospital. The caring relationship, although episodic, is prolonged over time, allowing a relationship of trust to be established with the’care recipient a relationship of trust that allows the’performance of health education with involvement of family members.
L’ambitious initiative will beà totally funded by the Sabatino Local Committee and will beà officially presented on June 2 in Piazza del Molo in Anguillara when all nurses will be dedicated to the day on cardiovascular prevention. E’ In fact, there is ample evidence that the’establishment of “Dedicated nursing clinics for patients with decompensation” represent a qualitative leap forwardà in the care of this condition and in the nursing clinic. Only through an’specialist care with high complexityà e continues in the course of the disease, è Indeed, it is possible for decompensated patients, after hospital discharge, to achieve greater control of their disease and prevent relapses.
We look forward to seeing you all on Thursdayì June 2 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the location set up at Pier Square.
